Daripada al-Harith bin Muslim al-Tamimi r.a., Nabi s.a.w. bersabda kepadaku: “Apabila engkau selesai menunaikan solat Subuh, maka katakanlah sebelum engkau berbual: “Ya Allah! Lindungilah daku daripada neraka” sebanyak tujuh kali. Jika engkau mati pada hari itu, Allah akan menetapkan bahawa engkau terlindung daripada neraka. Apabila engkau selesai solat Maghrib, maka katakanlah sebelum engkau berbual: “Ya Allah! Lindungi daku daripada neraka,” sebanyak tujuh kali. Jika engkau mati pada malam itu, Allah akan menetapkan bahawa engkau terlindung daripada neraka.”
